and 21: the two ages at the door
Figure Ground/Card and ID
Joining the Club at Cascades Casino London
Two ages decide the door at the London casino on King Street: 19 and 21. The check below walks through the ID rule first, then leads to the Guest Services desk where My Club Rewards membership begins.

My Club Rewards
Enrolment is at Guest Services and needs valid ID. Membership costs nothing; points rules and tiers are not published.
2/3
The first figure is nineteen. No guest under 19 is admitted, and each one needs valid government-issued photo ID. The rule is not the house's choice: Ontario's Gaming Control Act, 1992 bars anyone younger than 19 from entering or remaining in a casino. Playing at online casinos in the province requires the same age.
The second figure is 21. Up to and including age 21, a guest must show a second piece of name identification on top of the photo ID. A 20-year-old therefore brings two pieces, and so does a guest who is exactly 21. Guests older than 21 need the photo ID alone under the published rule.
02Membership costs nothing
Signing up for My Club Rewards, the casino's players club, costs nothing. Membership starts at the Guest Services desk: come in person and show valid ID.
The casino does not publish how points are earned or what tiers exist. Figure Ground therefore describes no earning rates, no levels and no member benefits. Where the casino prints nothing, this page prints nothing either. Questions about points belong with Guest Services itself or on the casino's own website.
03A break from every casino
The casino is operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, which uses PlaySmart, OLG's responsible gambling program, across its Ontario properties. Anyone wanting a break from play can turn to My PlayBreak, a self-exclusion program run by OLG.
Three lengths are offered: 3 months, 6 months, or any term between 1 and 5 years. The ban covers all Ontario casinos, not just the casino at 900 King Street. To enrol, a person can call the OLG Support Centre on 1-800-387-0098, speak to staff on site, or visit a PlaySmart Centre. My PlayBreak also covers Charitable Gaming Centres and OLG.ca.
QQuestions and answers
- Q1How many pieces of ID does a guest aged 20 carry?
- A guest aged 20 carries two pieces. The first is valid government-issued photo ID, and the second is secondary identification bearing the guest's name. Every guest aged 21 or younger needs both.
- Q2How many pieces does a guest older than 21 carry?
- One: valid government-issued photo ID. The secondary piece of name identification applies only to guests aged 21 or younger.
- Q3Where does enrolment in My Club Rewards happen?
- At the Guest Services desk in the casino, on the 1st floor of the Main Building at 900 King Street. A guest brings valid ID and is enrolled there at no cost.
- Q4Are point rules for My Club Rewards published?
- The casino does not publish how points are earned or what tiers exist. Figure Ground does not describe them for that reason.
